I've done some searching and the only thing i found is that a 'Hunger Games' movie will be released in 2013 (imdb) and that the castings for the movie will start early next year, probably around February 2011... 2013 is so far though, i want it sooner.  |

Lu, I think you're confusing the ending for Peeta: He definitely gets better. Obviously he's not perfect, but not perfect in the same sense that Katniss isn't perfect. When he asks her, "You love me, real or not real?" I don't see it as being a need for verification, I just see it as being their thing. Kind of a perfect summary of what they went through together, how their relationship began and ended. Obviously he's not the same Peeta, but she's not the same Katniss. You can't go through what they went through and remain the same person. BUT: He is still the good, kind-hearted, patient boy who loves her no matter what. They wouldn't have let him go back to her if he wasn't healed--they had to be sure he wouldn't try and kill her-- And remember, Peeta started to see himself for what he had become, and when he saw that, he knew he had to fight it. Fight it or die. So he fought it for her.  PEETA IS LOVE. ^This! I cried at that line it was so beautiful! I love Peeta ♥ I need to check these books out the hype is hitting the ceiling and my curiosity is piqued Peeta and Katniss remind me more and more of our own couple R/Hr. |

OMFG YES!!! ;D ;D I am so bloody effing excited!
Although I don't know about Kaya for the role, the bok described Katniss as having olive skin, Kaya is quite pale.
I think Jessica Lowndes would be really good only they would have to actually de-pretty her.

Sh*t I just read the first two chapters of the hunger games and I am addicted. I am going to buy them today as soon as school is over lmao. I almost wish I'd read them earlier because I would have gone to some kind of casting call or something for Katniss. I already love the character and immediately related to her, in terms of her family and sister. GAH CANT WAIT TO BUY IT.
