She said this, "I told Gary, ‘I totally understand if you don’t hire me, but please remember that after Katniss shoots a bow and kills someone her face cannot be badass. It has to be broken.’ She has to be heartbroken because she just took another person’s life." Some more this tumblr is amazing! INTERVIEWER: so you liam and josh, what do you do away from the set and the training, to form a comradery? JENNIFER: josh and i are both crazy, and it is good when we have people who are not crazy to calm us down a little bit. but when josh and i are together, we are so bad for each other. one time josh and i were watching some show about crocodiles, and then we went screaming about avatar and how upsetting it was that we couldn’t live on pandora, we couldn’t be avatars no matter how hard we tried, and we were screaming at the top of our lungs before we even realised it liam ran in, and was like “are you guys allright”…and we both just like, totally upset covering up our faces. fuckyeahthehungergames.tumblr.com3.38 She talks about The Hunger Games. ;D EDIT: She said this too, "He was asking me what the experience was like, and I just kind of opened up and said, ‘I feel like a rag doll. I have hair and makeup people coming to my house every day and putting me in new, uncomfortable, weird dresses and expensive shoes, and I just shut down and raise my arms up for them to get the dress on, and pout my lips when they need to put the lipstick on.’ And we both started laughing because that’s exactly what it’s like for Katniss in the Capitol. She was a girl who’s all of a sudden being introduced to fame. I know what that feels like to have all this flurry around you and feel like, ‘Oh, no, I don’t belong here." I love her ♥

A Hunger Games Thread, I'm so glad! I've read the whole trilogy in about 5 days, finished Mockingjay at 4 a.m... And this is bloody amazing. One of the best thing I ever read. Oh, and I'm in love with Peeta. I think Gale was necessary for Katniss to realise the type of guy she needs, but really, the Boy with the Bread was the one, I was so convinced from the beginning that they belonged together. And Collins' tour-de-force is that I couldn't be sure Katniss would be with Gale or Peeta until the very end (and Prim's horrible fate). Also, she broke my heart when Peeta got hijacked. He was so kind, so genuine... And became so broken. Katniss was his only rock in the world, and he lost that surety. I cried. A lot.
Moreover, I must say that I was a bit disappointed by the end of Mockingjay. I even hate the fact that, so close from President Snow's house, Collins just *BAM* and make Katniss faint, and we don't get to see the big final battle. I mean, Rowling didn't prevent Harry from finishing Voldemort himself by the end. I felt like she couldn't fit all of it in 27 chapters, so she cut a part of the story. I was like a child who goes without dessert.
I would have liked to see more of Peeta and Katniss' relationship in District 12 after everything that happened, getting together again, slowly, supporting each other, but the last dialogue with Katniss answering "Real" to his "You love me. Real or not real?" question kind of made up for it.
Anyway, I can't see any flaw in Hunger Games #1 or in Catching Fire, this books are so powerful in a lot of ways. I can't wait to see the movies. I love Josh Hutcherson to death, so I really hope the film will live up to my expectations. And Jennifer Lawrence rocks, she's such a perfect Katniss.
