Watched it... he had like.... three, maybe four scenes, and not many more lines. He didn't even sound like himself... and the kid he was with was funnier than he was saying he "loved his accent"

LMAO. Steve is such an idiot, but it's all about the accent for Steve. My favorite line from Steve when Liam packs Steve's wound with mud and bees, "You sound smart like Hugh Grant the movie star, but you're stupid, like Hugh Grant the person!" I just couldn't stop laughing.

Hmmm you must not watch American Dad? I don't think it's fair of you to say that. That's how Steve is and how he reacts to people or situations. Gullible and sometimes shallow. Following someone just because how they sound and knowing that Liam's ideas were not safe but doing them anyways. Look how beaten and tattered Steve looked and Liam fresh as a daisy. lol I don't think Rupert's character was meant to be funny. He was causing the funny or should I say the pain.

I watch... some of it. Really... Roger's scenes and Hayley's scenes were better. I thought Rupert's scenes were going to be so much better but I was disappointed. They also missed out on using a really good Harry Potter joke... Rupert must have begged them not to or something. I mean... Hugh Grant joke? Harry Potter would have been better considering.
Rupert, Dan, Emma and Bonnie have now all done voice acting in movies or TV. I have not seen Bonnie's yet, but I loved Dan's small role in The Simpsons, and Emma was great as Princess Pea opposite Matthew Broderick's Desperaux. They worked well...
Rupert was.... bland in my opinion. Not memorable at all for me.

You know, I wish you would quit making comparisons. If you don't like Rupert as an actor-move on. No one is holding you to this thread.

You know, I wish you would quit making comparisons. If you don't like Rupert as an actor-move on. No one is holding you to this thread. An administrator of a website who bashes a member... I like Rupert as an actor, always have, always will. Loved Rupert as Ron Weasley, loved him in Driving Lessons. Do I sound like I don't like him? I make comparisons because I can and it is part of a debate. Ever heard of freedom of speech? No one is holding you to this website even with that title of yours... move on. You are bashing and disrespecting me when I make an opinion. Everyone has opinions. Your fellow staff members will tell you that one.

No, I'm not bashing you. If you would have just stated you found his performance bland and left it at that, fine. That is your opinion, but when you start comparing him to the other actors then you are changing the topic and making it a debate thread. This isn't the thread for that topic.
