The point of my post was indeed to compare. I mean... how are we to judge on his performance otherwise other to praise or say we did not like it without reasons to back it up. Those were my reasons to back it up.

American Dad and the Simpsons are on the same night, same channel, targeting the same audience. People compare those all the time. Why can't we discuss Rupert's guest role in one to Dan's in another?

I wasn't aware this thread was just to say we like or dislike the performance and that is it. He didn't really have much to do in the role... a few lines.... not a very interesting topic unless we can put more into it. I was adding more to the discussion. I'd like someone else's opinion on that other than yours. Am I the only voice of opinion on this point?

I mean... for example... in relation to other voice acting roles, how do we like this one? I could say stick to roles where you are seen and heard... but that doesn't get a point across because voice-acting is different, and I am comparing it to others I am familiar with.
