I was angry at first, but now I'm just over it. I agree with what you said though. I'm not surprised they chose the blondie. Lol. And, Katie, I'm also really curious to see who plays Gale and Peeta. Gale needs to be have a kind of badass attitude to him, a dark undertone. And he needs to be hot. And Peeta I think should not be quite so rugged in terms of looks but definitely cute and with a light undertone, which correlates to his personality. That's why I like Hunter Parrish. Oh wow that last guy would be perfect for Gale!  Yum!  I totally agree about the Indian/Hispanic casting. The author drew pictures of how she saw the characters and she said that she imagined Katniss to be Indian! (I don't remember where I saw/read this, but I am like 99% certain I am correct.) YES! >.< Also this dude is like seriously tiny! I also heard a rumour that Liam from 90210 is playing Gale. He would make a good Gale, but I know that if they don't get someone good for Peeta then he is going to pale in comparison! I don't want everyone drooling over Gale and then forgetting about Peeta! I love Peeta! A girl on tumblr wants Hunter Parish for Peeta and I think he would be good ;D |

Well Gale is a good looking guy in the book... but yeah, i do agree that i want a better looking Peeta. He isn't supposed to be tall, muscular or whatever, but he's not supposed to be that innocent looking either. And i do think they need to go for the blonde hair at least.
Dunno... strange casting... we will have to wait and see how they're gonna change them because none of them looks like they are supposed to look.

I am pissed about the casting of Katniss the only positive is that she can act. If they cast this dude for Peeta I will go nuts. I might actually refuse to watch the films I am not letting them destroy my image of Peeta! ♥

I don't mind the actress who plays Katniss, but yeah - please, please, please new Peeta. :/
I know we have yet to see them acting, and being in character (with right hair colour and all) but i do not see my Peeta in this guy. :/
