Maybe the media world differs on actors and actresses, like brangelina are totally in the spot light along with Jen Austin, and some others are just looked over once or twice and allowed to get on with their lives for child actors everyone will be watching them to see if they screw up and they will one day and I feel bad when that happens cause then there is ^No end in sight and their lives become a living hell pretty much.  |

That's very wrong about Dan, cause it was Equus that got him out of the Potter role. He wasn't respected as an actor before, he was just another kid-star going Macaulay Culkin's way. Equus made people respect him and it helped seeing him in another thing, not just Harry. As for Emma, i don't know, but i think supporting roles will do it for her. She wont do it with main roles, not straight away. Supporting but important roles, that's her chance. And her role in MWWM and Perks are just that. Supporting characters, but important ones. And if something ... drastic comes with them, so be it. She will do it sooner or later. Plus, it will be the acting that will decide in the end, not her sex scene. The media will go for the second, but people in the movie industry will see her acting and decide whether she's good or bad or grown up. THIS says it all Katie!!!!! I dont personally want to see any nude scenes but that is Hollywood for ya and the fact is that Emma is now almost 21-she is a big girl who can make decisions on her own. Would I avoid going because there might be scenes like that? No. I want to see Emma's acting plus want to continue to support her movies. Also, I want to see her take on some good roles as a supporting character. I def want to see her as the main character too but this is so smart the way she is going-MWWM and now hopefully Perks. My guess is imdb was wrong and maybe posted it in the wrong movie. But who knows maybe the re-shoots did take away? Anyway the movie industry knows she is gorgeous and now will want to see what she can do post Potter acting wise-I am telling ya though that if her performances in DH 1 (and we know 2  ) are any indication, this girl will be AMAZING....I remember in the EW magazine as one of the bullseyes at the end of the magazine says w. a pic of Emma "if you quit acting, we quit movies". I just thought that was so sweet. |

Agree jenny- that is very true that here in the states it is different than in Europe. Like I said whatever roles Emma takes on in the future, I will be there to watch her act and support her movies too. I say bring Perks movie.

I personally think Emma will wait before she does any roles involving nudity for the simple reason of her still going to university. I read a few articles a few months ago that Emma was quite annoyed that some fake nude photo's of her were being circulated around by the male population of Brown and i could see Emma not wanting to do a nude scene while at Brown because instead of fake images being circulated around as soon as she does a nude scene those images will be very real.
Of course after Brown and outside of a school environment i think the odds of her doing a nude scene will go up considerably.

And i too think that US are fed up with nakedness, but that's mostly because those scenes are cheap... you get sexy superstar (Megan Fox or someone like her) and she's naked and everyone know that scene if for media attention, not because it's a good role. I think it's perhaps we Americans get more nudity in our movies nowadays then we'd like and now it turns us off and correct me if I'm wrong but it maybe different in the UK so good luck to Emma if she does do it someday.  |
