Yeah I hate to say it, but since it was on twitter from her own reps, that is a no go-Emma would def be telling everyone that she is on a new project- I wonder too if the movie would be filmed at all. Maybe production issues? Who knows... we just will keep our eyes out and open for new projects from Emma (and Rupert too  ) |

I think she is just not that often on twitter and just don't had time to twited about it jet. |

True but the thing is that there has always been talk about MWWM and even pics of Emma was released for that- we knew that was happening... what I am trying to say is that it may or may not have Emma in it depending on production possibly...one of my friends who is in production (long story LOL) was slated to have a movie go and then bam production problems- was for a TV made movie. Also, I would think they would want to promote Emma's name with a new movie and her reps to confirm it. The fact that her reps have said she is looking for new projects and will let people know when something happens says alot.

I mean, her PR said it, only a week ago that she doesn't have any upcoming movies atm so we can be sure this is all a rumour. I mean, Emma or her PRs never really denied her being in MWWM or said she wont be filming another movie soon. It was all done quietly. It's different with Perks. She did consider it at one point, but what happened after? Who knows. I mean, she could have said no (due to college and DH reshoots in December) or the movie could have been pulled down.... Maybe both? Like i've said, Logan Lerman said at one point he was going to be Charlie. And we haven't had a thing about this after that. I really think the movie wont be filmed, that's why there aren't any news about it. |

I remember a rumour in November that said Emma would be shooting Perks early in 2011 but as we all know she is about to go back to Brown and hasn't done any filming (other than some Harry Potter reshoots) in the school break.

Yeah thats what I am thinking too Katie-could be that the movie was not ready to be filmed, or production issues, or could even be peoples' schedules. I am thinking Emma will be devoting the majority of her time to HP promotions and to school. She has one semester left til summer and then around May (when she gets out for school) I am sure is when HP will be in FULL gear for promotion time :-)

So many of the rumours have so far proved false so its hard to know what to believe. I remember a rumour in November that said Emma would be shooting Perks early in 2011 but as we all know she is about to go back to Brown and hasn't done any filming (other than some Harry Potter reshoots) in the school break. There were some talks that she was going to film a movie during her winter break. At that point, there wasn't any talk that there will be some DH2 re-shoots so many assumed it was Perks that she was going to film during the winter. Then, few weeks before New Year, there were some rumours that Perks' filing was pushed to around May 2011 or summer (some said to fit Emma's schedule since she was going back to HP set during the winter). All in all, either the movie failed because of production problems or maybe it was never meant to happen OR they are just trying to work it around Emma's schedule, so that's why there isn't anything official yet and that's why Emma doesn't have it listed as a project yet. |

If they are trying to work it around Emma's schedule, these Hollywood people are not idiots. They KNOW who will bring in the money and the fans for that movie-Emma, Rupert,and Dan are pure gold for the industry and you can bet they will do whatever they have to do to accomodate the trio's schedules. Although I am sure that they also know that wont happen as often (as Emma has even said) about having a schedule that is accomodating. I also tend to think that maybe Emma wants some time off from filming anything and have some time to relax to which I wouldnt blame her in the least.
