My "no reading other people's reviews" policy has kind of failed (due to the amount of free time I have lately xD)...So I think I know what to expect. *prepares self* In (I suppose) good news, Paramount has said the film is doing as they expected it to - The Last Airbender is predicted to reach over $50 million in ticket sales by Monday, which means it has to make another $200 million in other countries to breakeven. |

Well....after your review, Liann, I think I finally believe that it sucked. I think I was in denial for a while. But I suppose that it just isn't good. And I thought that people didn't like it because it wasn't a great adaption - but I suppose it's just a bad movie by itself. Thanks for the review, thanks a lot You've prepared me sorta. So yeah, thanks for taking the time to come here and tell us about it.  Patrick - Go watch the show, like, now. Lol. |

Liann, you are amazing. xD I LOLed so much reading that review - I adore the way you say things.
You know what really annoys me? This film could have been epic, it could have been seriously amazing...they had the world, characters and plot already created for them and laid out on a plate - how on EARTH did M. Night screw this up so bad?! >_>
I'm still gonna see the film when it gets released here in August, though I'm gonna go in with very low expectations. If they do get the chance to do the sequel, then I hope they choose a different screenwriter and maybe director.
Pat - *joins in* GO WATCH IT. It's awesome stuff.

It'll be completely pointless to leave us there with that cliffhanger at the end of the film and just not continue it, but who knows. SO. The Legend of Korra. If Korra is a Kataang kid, then who would the threat be? I don't see the Fire Nation trying anything again. Sandbenders? Idk. |
