And I miss Sokka already. D: Damn, he was the best. I hope the Firebenders aren't the bad guys again though, but it doesn't look like they are. xD It's about a rebellion by the non-benders, so methinks that the firebender we saw could be a friend of Korra's. |

I miss him too - I started re-watching Avatar today for the fourth time 'cause I missed the Gaang xD So psyched for the new series, the creators look as though they have spent time thinking this through. I've been reading up on all the info that I've missed since I've been in a complete Potter craze and this is what I gathered: - Katara and Aang had three children, one of which was an airbender (Tenzin) who also has three children (who are all airbenders) and a wife (there'a a photo of his family - so adorable!). Korra needs to learn airbending and so seeks out Tenzin to teach her. - Like Katara, Korra is also from the Southern Water Tribe. - Korra has already learnt fire, water and earthbending, she specifically goes to the United Republic to seek Tenzin and learn airbending. - The main characters for this series seems to be Korra (obviously), Mako (who's a firebender) and Bolin (who's an earthbender). Bolin seems like a Sokka-type character! - Mako and Bolin are brothers who live on an island off the coast of the Republic City. - Toph's daughter is the chief of metalbending police. - Metalbending and chi-bending are more well known and practised. - The setting for this series, the United Republic, was built by Aang and Zuko after the 100 year war had ended. - Korra's animal guide is a polar-bear dog called Naga. - After the 100 year war, Aang found a whole new species of flying bison and lemurs, which will make an appearance in the new series. - The revolutionaries (the bad guys?) are called the Equalists.
