Random discussion? So anything! Haha, an old thread I was on had one of these. Someone originally did a dumb thread, and they changed the name to "Just ignore this and let this one die." and everyone started using it for random discussion.

Just been checking out cats for adoption and was going through a long list of the cutest cats of various breeds sizes and colour and who shoud pop up but the most handsomest ginger and white "tom" called Ron Weasley. Naturally I fell in love at first sight and wanted him desperately but that person I call "husband" said " We are not having any more cats in this house especially one called Ron Weasley."Why cant he understand? So mean!!!!!!!

I hope everyone in London is safe. I wish this mindless/useless violence would just stop. The world is already fucked up as it is and they're just making it worse.

There's rioting in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool and Nottingham too. It's actually getting ridiculous now.

It's absolutely disgusting. Someone on the news said that "I don't agree with what their doing, but I understand where their coming from because of the way the youth are treated today" it's got nothing to do with that at all, it's just an excuse to act like complete prats, but their destroying people's homes and places of work while doing so. I live in Birmingham and apparently they've broke into some shops in the Bullring, one of the main shopping malls, it's a disgrace. Their talking about bringing in armed forces, I think they flipping need to.

I live in Birmingham too - can't believe everyone has acted this way. To break into the Bull Ring? I mean seriously! This is their city, why destroy it?! It makes no sense. Some Brummies have banded together to start clean-up already, so lets hope things don't kick off again tonight. And I agree - it's just pure mindless vandalism. They're not doing it for any given reason anymore, they're just doing it for fun, I swear. Actually ashamed to be from the UK right now. It's so disrespectful of these people to destroy people's homes and businesses. The army won't be brought in - it said on BBC West Midlands that they're too stretched out to deploy forces into the cities. The Police'll have to handle it.

It's all over the news... meh, it's crazy. From what i've read/seen, it's all kids out there. There were some reports about 11 year old kid being arrested! CRAZY! And i think the army should handle it because the police obviously can't.

I think it's calming down now though from what I've seen on the news tonight. There's more police on the streets and they seem to have gone about it differently, so hopefully it should get better from now.
I've hated being at work today, there's been police everywhere and we had a memo around 1:30pm to say that a gang would be coming around 2:00pm to cause havoc but they never did, I think it was just to scare us, it bloody well worked though.
Silvia *Hugs you too* hehe.
