If true, looks like Rupert and Vincent D'Onofrio were last additions. www.imdb.com/title/tt1196948/fullcredits#castAlso, several weeks ago saw a tweet about someone seeing Rupert and Jay (James Buckley) from the Inbetweeners. Rupert could have been auditioning and his scenes might be more with James Buckley. But just pure speculation on my part. lol

This movie looks promising (me likes the cast as well) but I wanna see him in a major role already... Enough with the supporting roles. :/

You took the words right out of my mouth Katie...would really love to see Rupert get a lead role soon. He has SO much freakin talent and I would love to see that talent shine in a lead role or def a bigger role. But agree, this movie sounds very promising!!

Ditto!! Rupert is such a good actor and so I want to see him in a lead role. I am always waiting with hope that his chance will come along. He deserves it the most. One or two lead roles will be sufficient for his star to shine and dazzle us all, as we know he will. I am glad though that he is getting the chance to show his acting skills aways from HP. I wish him all the luck in the world.

Been reading different articles about this film and it seems it's been going around for about 2 years in pre-production. Good thing is the producers took it to the Cannes Film Market to get distribution deals I guess based on all the actors involved (mostly all actors signed last month) it was an easy sell.

Movie making is so interesting...I mean it is not like get a movie write it and bam it becomes one. You have to sell it...sounds like they did a good job of selling it. Good for them!

I'm like a day late on this, but I've not even been on the net for a week or something. Anyway, I was sooooo excited to read about this. Literally, so excited that I almost fell down the steps from running up and down the stairs telling my husband about who was attached...
I was reading a few comments regarding wanting Rupert to get lead roles and I totally understand. But, I kind of veer in a different direction. I think at this juncture that it's quite possibly a good strategic move for me to align himself with projects that will give him the greatest opportunity to showcase himself, while still maintaining the direction that he seems to be wanting to go in....INDIE KING!!!! Basically, getting into some quality film projects that hopefullly gives him a meaty role with an amazing ensemble cast that will be SEEN!!!!
I will go anywhere to see a Rupert Grint film. I will order his films from anywhere, however, not everyone is a hardcore fan like we all are. Therefore, hopefully, at this early stage of his post-HP career, people might go to see Shia, but come out like, hey that kid from Harry Potter, he's good.
Basically, it might take some time, but if you look at the careers of some when they make that transition, it does take time. Hey it did take a few years for Shia to transition from that cute boy from Even Stevens to Shia "freakin" LaBeouf....
