I was in my sister's wedding over the weekend, as the Maid of Honor.
Well, you see, I knew and had met and spoken with the Best Man before. He used to date my sister's friend/roommate, and he is my sister's now husband's best friend. I always thought he was kind of weird. Definitely not cute.
Well, gosh, I dunno......this weekend, I found him to be quite the gentleman, very handsome. And when his hand was on the small of my back.......oooooh, chiiiiillllls. We made small talk and giggled/laughed with the rest of the wedding party, but we didn't really talk a whole lot. I am pretty sure he is available. He is super intelligent and has a great job. He really is quite the catch.
I was the "oldie" of the wedding party- with most of the crew being 22-25, and I am 28 going on 29, so I am a good 3-4 years older, which in the grand scheme of things, who cares, right?
I am not all that skinny or pretty, so why I even think I would have the most remote chance with him.....no idea. But, I look very similar to my sister. She is a touch skinnier and prettier (I think) but we look enough alike that people know we are sisters and comment on how much we look alike. And, in his speech, he called her a beautiful girl...so that has to be a good thing.
Of course, we did the Bridal Party dance, instead of dancing with me like he was supposed to, he danced with my sister....I am hoping it was more that he wanted to dance with her and not that he didn't want to dance with me.....I have self esteem issues, can you tell? But, even so, that was his chance to dance with me, and he didn't, so obviously his interest is not very high.
But, I still cannot help but nurse a little tiny bit of a massive crush on him. I am wondering if I should friend him on FB........then I think maybe I should friend the rest of the wedding party (whom I am not already friends with) so it is not so obvious.
What is WRONG with me!?
