anybody else a huge fan? she also released the first book to her new series "the infernal devices" in august, and it's even better i think.
the mortal instruments is three books so far (and there's three more coming out)
city of bones
city of ashes
city of glass
and the infernal devices is
clockwork angel (so far)
best books i've read in a while, it's right up there with harry potter for me.

Yep, read them all last year! My fourth favourite book series. ;D Still yet to read Clockwork Angel though, but I've heard some pretty amazing things about it.  Can't wait for the other three books in the TMI series! Simon is my favourite character, so yeah, can't wait to see where he ends up.  |

clockwork angel is AMAZING. you'll love it, no doubt.
simon, jace, clary, magnus and isabelle... i really can't choose a favorite, i love them all.

-late reply- xD Oh, I cannot wait to read Clockwork Angel! Once I've finished reading the last book in the His Dark Materials trilogy, that's next in line. I love them all too.  But I always loved Simon a little bit more than the rest. I'm so excited to read the next three Mortal Instruments books - next April can't come soon enough. Are you Simon/Isabelle or Simon/Maia? ...or neither? xD |

i think i'm more simon/isabelle, but that could change i guess, just depends. i think simon could really bring something to isabelle's life.
i can't wait to hear what you think about clockwork angel, and who you ship! LOL

I love these books. I picked them up last year...i think I made a thread in the off topic shipper threads but it's probably been lost by now. I just got my hands on a copy of Clockwork Angel and am loving it so far!
I recently found out that Casandra Clare was originally a fanfiction writer for guess which fandom...yep HP! Makes me feel good knowing that fans can get published!
