I'm English, but to be honest, I don't really care about this poor guy who made that one mistake. I feel so bad for him, it's only a game, and he's going to be taunted and moaned about for ages now. At work, it's all i'm going to hear. My managers are football crazy, and it drives me nuts! Rawhhrr!

I hope this gets forgotten about, but.... it wont. Poor guy. He just let it slip out of his hands and it went in the goal. Sucks.

I feel sorry for him but meh... that could cost them going to the next round. This is not some school game or something. It's the WC. These mistakes can get you out of it.

Also, they did complain the ball they use in this WC. They were saying it had a strange rotation and all, but still, that ball he left in the goal? MY granny would have saved it. It was slow, and it was going directly in his hands... he just missed it.
