^  I'm actually going late to a friends 18th to watch it. XD I'm so sad, but I realllly don't want to miss it.  Are we getting the four specials over four weeks or are they going to be like...staggered? Only four hours left of David Tennant as the Doctor!*cries* |

It was amazinggggggggggggggggggg I got so hyped before it -- I was practically bouncing off the walls. The next one = OMG. Wait until you see the preview at the end of this episode, it looks seriously freaky. I cannot wait! |

XDD Hahaaa, That was hilarious. I'm not keen on Christina as a future companion (I'm guessing she'll make a return sometime in the future), I think if she ever returns she'll grow on me, she just seemed a bit one dimensional in the episode. I loved the fly men too -- even though they weren't that amazing, I actually felt sorry for them when they got eaten. Lee Evans (Malcolm) was hilarious too; when he was saying "I LOVE YOUUUU!" to the Doctor I was lol-ing. And the end! You can tell the Doctor is still cut up about the loss of all his companions, his little speech at the end was so sad.  That women as well, who said, "Your song must end soon" and, "he will knock four times" -- Obvious foreshadowing of his regeneration, but I'm very intrigued with the 'knock four times thing'. When I watched Doctor Who Confidential Russel T Davies said the answer to that is going to be in the next episode, he also said that the two other specials (or the "regeneration episodes" as he called them) are airing around Christmas time this year (agessss away!). So I'm guessing Waters of Mars will air around July/August time? He's apparently said it'll air in November.  He also said that Planet of the Dead was the last time the Doctor (as the 10th Doctor) will have a bit of fun. ^I gotta say, that looks pretty freaky, I know it's only water but still... 0_0 It's the part at 7 seconds that scares me the most. Ahhh I can't wait! The only other DW episode that has really scared me was Blink, so hopefully it'll be as good as that one. EDIT: About the "knock four times" thing, there's been some speculation that the Master is coming back (remember his girlfriend picking up his ring at the end of season 3?). Back in season three we had those tapping/drumming sounds that everyone (and he) was making, which had four beats in them -- you make the connection. Guys, have you seen this rumour? Just found out this morning that Tennant is coming up to London on Friday to shoot a scene with Billie Piper. And it is literally just the one scene. Episode 4.18, Scene 163 to be precise. They’re going to be out on location in a reasonably public place so there’s some chance of photos but I don’t want to be too specific in case the descent of hordes of ‘Doctor Who’ fans prompts anyone to try and find out where the information originated. No idea what the scene actually entails but the Call Sheet lists the characters as “The Other Doctor” and “Rose Smith” so draw your own conclusions! And this is what one fansite said about it:
So we have The Other Doctor and Rose Smith, lets look into this first.
What Other Doctors do we know of? There's the meta-crisis Doctor, generally referred to as 10.5, who we assume they mean, but who else could it be? How about Matt Smith? He is defiantly an Other Doctor, but would he be meeting Rose Tyler?
Next we have Rose Smith, with there only being one Rose in Doctor Who, unless you count that Yorkshire Terrier, we assume its Rose Tyler, but married? What other Smiths are there? There's Mickey/Ricky Smith, but Noel Clarke has walked away from the series to pursue an already successful movie career. Then there is Sarah Jane Smith and her adopted son Luke Smith, so a same sex marriage to Sarah Jane? Someone who is almost an OAP? I think not, I can't see Luke going there either. So it has to be the meta-crisis Doctor, who uses the name John Smith when it suits!
So does Rose marry 10.5? Well, she loved the real Doctor, and this is the closest she will ever get to him. But can Rose be pregnant with 10.5s child too? This would be very Russell T Davies!
This is how I'd end the series - 10.5 is with Rose, who is close to having their baby. Meanwhile the Doctor is going to regenerate, but he needs his energy used to create 10.5 back, so against his will, it returns, and 10.5 dies. Not a dry eye in the house, this is very Russell T Davies too!

^Yeah, I don't really like that, and or want it to happen. Seriously. That's just too out there. LOL. Heeeyyy, I got a DW book yesterday! It's called Shining Darkness, and it's an adventure with the Doctor and Donna. It's really well written and the writer really captured their personalities! |

^That's what I thought. As much as I love D/R, I think they've played around with that storyline enough times now. The Doctor said the parallel world is sealed off forever, there's no way to get back again really. Ooo, that sounds really interesting! Where did you get it from? |
