I ship them because she's one of the only ones who's a woman, mature, and doesn't worship him. I mean he's fascinating, but worshiping him is frightening. And I do appreciate Doctor/Rose, but sometimes it was too teenagey for me and that didn't sit well with me. I love the dynamic between 11/Amy, but I don't see any romantic tension between them. It's more like a young woman living out a fantasy with her childhood hero. And LOL don't get me started on 10/Martha. Ugh. I get annoyed at how starryeyed she was around him and how she constantly whined and complained about Rose this Rose that. Get over yourself. To each's own I guess. Lu, I'm trying to keep up with UK, but I'm kinda busy and have so many other tv/movies to watch. That annoys me.

I agree. Ten/Rose will always be my OTP of the show, purely because of the fact they were just so damn adorable. Though I did think they suffered under RTD's writing, so I do get where where you're getting the teenagey vibe from. Nope, no romantic tension between eleven/amy at all, but I still love the way they act around each other. Matt and Karen have said that they do share a love for one another (not romantic), like a sort of connection as the series goes on - which, in my opinion, is the best thing to do, because nobody wants another storyline with the companion being in unrequited love with the Doctor. It's been done too many times. Oh, 10/Martha? Hah, don't get me started either. xD I feel so sorry for Martha, having to deal with so much fandom hate. But I do respect her for one thing; SHE'S the one who left the Doctor by CHOICE, Rose and Donna were planning on forever. So kudos to her for that. Ah, I know how you feel. I'm desperately trying to keep up with Lost. But I'm failing miserably. This weeks episode was amazing btw. ;D Rory is such an awesome character, and Rory/Amy is so cute. Next week's episode looks pretty darn epic too. xD

Well, only because the Doctor didn't want her. If he told her he loved her, then she'd be with him in a heartbeat. To be fair, I don't hate her like with a burning passion, I more frustrated at the TPTB for thinking that turning DW in a soap opera was a good idea. And I can't believe some people thought David Tennant's doctor was horrible. That's like blasphemy to me! I don't get it. I mean yeah he suffered with some writing due to some of the love stuff, but what about in series 4? He was BRILLIANT THERE. I mean BRILLIANT. And his chemistry {platonic mind you} with Donna/Cate was out of this world! I still need to catch up with the latest episodes! Gah! I'm falling behind! And OMG. I can't believe he jumps out of a cake! That's crazy, especially because one of my fave characters in another show did the same thing recently!

Eh, I suppose you're right about Martha. I loved Freema and all, but Martha was such a poor character. And yeah about the soap opera, if one of the previous Doctors had had a relationship with one of his companions then I doubt the show would've lasted as long. Doctor/Rose was nice and all, but having the next companion in unrequited love with the Doctor was yeah, dramatic and did cause a stir, but then it fell flat an boring after a couple of episodes. That's why series 4 is my favourite, because the whole Donna and Doctor relationship was hilarious. xD David Tennant and Catherine Tate together was just epic. Oh, I know. It's weird to think that some people hated Ten. I think part of the poor writing was that RTD couldn't let any of his characters go (as much as I loved her, Rose especially). Personally, I think David Tennant did an amazing job with what he had to work with. Ah! Yes, you do! The jumping out of a cake thing just made my day. Oh, who else jumped out of a cake then? XD The Vampires of Venice was a great episode, Rory was hilarious, and there was so many one-liners. Rory/Amy was pretty darn adorable too. The preview for this saturday's episode looks incredible. So yeah, catch up quick! There's also a lot of speculation at the moment about the Doctor going back on his own time line (there's apparently already been several sitings of a possible future!doctor) - so see if you can spot him. This series of Doctor Who has already broken my brain. XD
