If I was invited to go to Cambridge and check it out, I would go regardless of whether I was going to attend or not. lol I would be crazy to say no.

she must have expressed her interest and intention to these universities or she would not have been invited to look at dorm rooms with two escorts, one of whom was a Harvard affiliate. she's looking at other universities as well. so she's quite open in her options and she could always decide to stay in the UK or in the US as she's mentioned about her applications to both the UK and US universities.

I think we all understand that. Believe me I worked at a University here in the states, everyone gets the special treatment. Recruiting can be a viscious business.

-OffTopic IT lay back a little People here neither hate Emma or dislike or underestimate her. You don't have to defend her every time, something is posted, whether is about her school, or some supposed boyfriend or something else. I respect her, so does the other people here. So don't get offended when we speculate about Emma sometimes. Please take no offence. -OnTopic When i was choosing a college, i was asking for every single one we have here. College is important, so we all try to do the best choice. I'm sure Emma will visit every single one she applied to. ( which is very smart if you ask me.) But visiting doesn't mean she'll go there She can't be at 20 universities at once lol.

Katie, why would I defend Emma? She can defend herself. lol, besides i don't really care. I'm only stating realistic facts here and i'm not putting myself in her place and say i would choose this and that like i am her, which i am not and neither is anyone here.

sorry. lol but honestly what's wrong with Emma going out of the country and coming to the US for university like she's expressed? I know we all secretly want her to stay, but that's not our decision, it's hers.

Will you stop. These are opinions, but you were getting defensive about it. Just let it go. Okay.

Back to the topic, in terms of taking a gap year, is that common in the UK? It's not really done in the U.S., so I was wondering if this is just something Emma is doing or is this common practice? I think I read Prince William took a year-long break before university as well.
