With the kind of results that she has gotten for her A-levels, she can get in to any of the Ivy League schools if she wants to.
So many choices to choose from. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown....

I still think it's better for her to stay in UK for her own sake. The paps and the media in US are awful and she'll be followed all the time. I mean with time they'll let her to breathe. It's true, there are awesome colleges there but i don't think she can take all that preasure. Maybe she won't go in LA where all the celebrities are but still... All in all i don't want to see Emma becoming the new Britney.

Never heard anything about Jodie Foster, Brook Shields, the Olsen twins (unless they were in some club in NYC), or any other celebrites. They just leave the alone unless they are hanging out at celebrity haunts.

^ That's true. Also, Claire Danes and Natalie Portman, child stars who paused their careers to attend university, both dropped off the paparazzi radar when they were in school. Paps aren't going to hang out in New Haven, Conn., to try to catch one celebrity when they could be in L.A. or NYC with the possibility of many celebrities to photograph. I hope Emma is enjoying her break. It seems like she's been really busy, though! She's been traveling a lot. You know, if I had to put my money on it, I think Emma is interested in Yale. Just a feeling. If that happens, Pat might have a heart attack.

No Pattycakes don't have a heart attack. lol OT: You know the actor Peter Weller (robocop fame) is a history professor at Syracuse University. I didn't know it until I saw him on some History Channel program about the Romans. So, yeah University life keeps them out of the spotlight.

Erm, I don't she'll have much chance of serious movie-career, sorry I don't see it. She's not a good enough actress, and unless she wants to play a pretty dumb-blonde, or she might have a chance for smaller parts in Tv-series/movies. So going to school is the best she can do. and if the world doesn't forgets all about Harry Potter, she still going to have some respect for being a part of HP.And she could attend some fashion-shows (gods, )

Emma Watson visits Harvard universityRussell, who had a brief chat with Watson, said she seemed “nice” and “very American.”
Hill said he nearly collided with one of Watson’s escorts while leaving the House, before unthinkingly saying he was on his way to class. Watson then went to visit the room of the next student she approached, much to Hill’s chagrin.
“I actually called my mom; I was so distraught,” he said. “It was all I could think about for the entire morning.” A representative refused to confirm her presence;
Dean of Admissions William R. Fitzsimmons ’67 declined to comment on Watson’s interest or admissions chances, saying he does not discuss individual cases. Watson herself gave away little to Russell of her plans, saying she was “just visiting.” I thought Harvard was Law-School Emma once stated that she definitely wont go to a law school, cause she didn't like the job her parents have. Oh well.. who knows

Where'd you get that article, Katie?
JKR spoke at Harvard's commencement last spring. It would be a good choice for Emma, as it's considered to be the best university in the United States.

I just don't get why she's thinking about coming here for school.
