Probably only injured, cause from those two lines, we don't really know if he managed to bite her before Hermione stunned him. true that, but the fact that Lavender's body was 'feebly stirring' makes me think she was indeed bitten by Greyback, and loosing her strenght by the second. It is possible that she didn't die though, but she might had become a werewolf... I'm so looking forward to that Encyclopaedia! ;D

That would be because she has fallen just a moment before that? Yeah, i think she's just injured from the fall.

I looked it down. Sorry in advance if there are any mistakes, as I typed the whole thing. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, UK version, page 519: 'Harry, Ron and Hermione sped down the marble staircase: glass shattered to their left and the Slytheryn hourglass that had recorded house points spilled its emeralds everywhere, so people slipped and staggered as they ran. Two bodies fell from the balcony overhead as they reached the ground and a grey blur that Harry took for an animal sped four-legged across the hall to sink its teeth into one of the fallen.' And then the bit that Nat already posted follws after. So Greyback may or may not have managed to bit Lavender very briefly before Hermione shoot a spell at him... But it is still unclear if she died or not after such violent fall. Idk, I remember it struck me as her being dead when I read it for the first time. At the time, I took it more as Hermione protecting her remains than trying to save her life for some reason...
