Another awesome episode!
The flash-sideways were actually enjoyable. I loved how Desmond was taking control.
Not surprising about Jack. But I couldn't love Matthew Fox any more than I did in the moment where he drank the water and knowledge/enlightment just dawned in his eyes...damn that was good acting.
Kate continues to be worthless. The only way she could redeem herself is if she volunteered to stay on the island with Jack (I am worried about him being alone) and sent Claire back in her place to be with Aaron.
BEN!!! (I don't need to say anything else).

Anyway, good thing you're caught up. I'm so nervous for the finale... sad, happy, emotional, everything at same time!!

I'm actually sad. I've been chatting to my friend all day on facebook about it. xD She's getting up at 5am to watch the finale on Sky, which I'm incredibly jealous of, because I don't have that channel. D:
But yeah, tomorrow morning = shaking and crying, shaking and crying.
I'm going to miss this show, even it it did take me 3 years to catch up.

I know some of you have not seen it so please, please don't peek. The scene that most affected me was the one after Desmond was pulled out. The convo between Ben and Hurley and in the end you know that they both did a fantastic job as keepers of the island. Bless them. |

*major confusion* Okay- Christian said to Jack -> "Everyone dies at some point.". Okay, i get that. What i really want to know is - WHAT THEY DID BEFORE THEY DIED. Well, i do think that those who survived - Kate, Claire, Sawyer, Richard, Miles and Lapidus, stayed close and all. But i am kinda curious how they lived. Did they marry someone? Did they have kids? ....? I love how they at least found each other in the afterlife, but that's not much satisfying, knowing that they weren't really together. I will go old school now, but i loved Jate. I simply loved it. What tears me apart is that they didn't really have their "happy ending". Same for Sawyer/Julliet. Dunno. I hated the finale, and then again, i loved it. Quite LOST-ish.  |

Katie, I know what you mean. I was curious about that, too. I think the writers want us to make up our own stories, just like we don't know exactly what happened in the 19 years between the end of DH and the epilogue. YOU have to fill in the gaps. Also, I don't know if it really matters what they did. We know Kate missed Jack very badly, and I'm SURE Sawyer felt the same about Juliet. Kate probably helped Claire raise Aaron...I don't know. I guess it doesn't matter. Their experience on the island was the most important part of their lives. And Jate and Suliet (and everyone else, Charlie/Claire, etc) did get a sort of happy ending. They found each other after death and they get to be together forever, wherever they are going in "the light." I can't imagine a better ending for anyone.   Does that help you? |

For the story, it didn't matter what happened to them, but i was kinda curious. I too think Skate didn't happen, cause it's obvious that they loved Jack and Julliet. Also i agree about Kate helping Claire raise Aaron. Dunno, i expected to see some of that. But given the fact that we were following Jack's story, i guess it's only right to end it when he died. I had mixed feeling after i watched the finale. I was mostly confused. But now after 24 hours everything it's falling into it's place. Now i love the finale. Also i can't agree more on the 'happy ending'. They all found each other - JATE FTW! What? They were cute. Also, i love how Kate was the one to kill Flocke. "I saved you a bullet." I miss this show already. =( |

I know! For me, Kate nearly redeemed herself with that line. It was so awesome! Plus, thank god she FINALLY picked Jack. That made me feel a lot better about her, too. And how she just went charging off the cliff! Totally badass! Sawyer is hesitating and she just jumps off! Here's one for you, Jaters. (Under spoiler tag because it's large, not because it's an actual spoiler) ^That's actually Evie and Matthew from a Vanity Fair shoot. ^Love this one. What is Josh doing to her butt? ;D I'm gonna miss this show too! I can't "let go" just yet... |
