people saying stupid comments about Rupert and getting the Rupert News thread locked - thanks alot! Just because Rupert's looking too 'plump' for your liking, now none of us can post in there. Just shut up about him, he's not going to change for you. I agree completely with you. I'm so annoyed right now.  It's like some people here don't know Rupert at all. We are talking about someone, who wears the same pair of shoes for years, the guy who bought an ice-cream van(when other guys at his age are after ferrari or something that expensive), the guy who says that he is in love with the Queen and the guy we love because he's authentic! He's not one of the many! And some people here are calling him a future failure, because he's not fit enough? Because he's not doing whatever it takes to get some Hollywood roles? Maybe he doesn't want a Hollywood life. Maybe all he wants for the rest of his life, is to sit on his bed, getting weight till death. It's his life! His choice! We are supposed to be here to support him becuase we love him. Sure, we can say things we don't like, but only with the good intentions and I'm sorry, but I only see pure bashing by some people towards Rupert. *Also I'm mad that Panachaiki lost 0-1 by Platania! Stupid coach leaving Kyvelidis on the bench! |

^Exactly, we should be lucky that Rupert is one of those few people that is unique. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions and I completley respect that, but if he was going out there landing big Hollywood roles I'd bet you any money that you'd get people going "Oh, I hope he dosen't get too big for his boots" Your never going to please everyone, so like Rupert it's best to just be yourself, after all it's his life, just because he's in the public eye dosen't give him any less of a reason to live his life like a normal person would.
I personally think he looks great the way he looks, he's also just spent half his life making one of the biggest film franchise, so it's only right that he's going to wanna take it easy for a while and we as fans should be respecting that too.

I can understand if it is annoying that a thread is being closed.
But you have to understand (and now i am talking about myself and not for other members):
I love Rupert!!!.
However that doesn't mean that he is perfect in my eyes. Even if i am a fan of his, i don't think he is perfect in every way. There might be stuff i do not like or which are not my taste and type. That doesn't mean i am not a fan or don't like him. I love my husband but it doesn't mean he is perfect in every way. The same goes here, if you love or at least really like someone you manage to overlook the negative points.
To be honest, i don't see it as bad to be able to write my opinion. As long as i respect Rupert and everyone here, i should be able to write what i love about Rupert but also if in my opinion and taste i do not like something of him as much. As long as my love and admiration overrule the negative i feel, i should be able to express my opinion.
Even if he is not perfect in my eyes i am still a fan and hopefully still allowed to be a member here.
I only wanted to write my opinion and the way i see stuff, and not to start a fight or anything bad.

^^ I'm completly agree with you in this forum it's crazy how you have to take care of what you writes, i just said that he should take care a lil bit more of his apparence, it's really important when you are a celebrity, too much but it's like that he have to do with it. I want him so bad to keep doing acting maybe make a big movie makes million and show to everyone, who doesn't believe in him, what he can do because to me Rupert is apsolutly brillant and unique in so many ways, i don't want him to change completly i just want him to take care of his apparence a lil bit more, thats it.

yeah, you can give your opinion but there's a certain line where you can only say so much. If you keep going onn and onn about Rupert being 'fat' or 'unfashionable' or whatever, after a while, it get's annoying. We respect and care about him and yes, he's not perfect - nobody is - but keep bringing up that you think he's this and that.... seriously. It starts fights. I wasn't involved in any fights in that thread when it got locked but i'm annoyed that it got locked because of fights.
and why does it matter about taking care of his appearance, he can wear what he likes. Just saying, thats my opinion. Let's move on, fights cause threads to lock...
