I know Katie! I complain in summer and in winter. Although are winters are mild compared to yours they sometimes get down to 5degrees in the mornings but warm up to maybe 23degees by midday. So I guess I prefer winter to summer. The humidity here in the sub tropics are painful. On that day it was 36degrees my husband and I went to Southbank which is a man made beach and lagoon on the outskirt of our main city centre. The lagoon is massive and there were about a million people swimming there. We didn't join them in the end as the water was warm and suddenly uninviting and so we had to hike it back to our car in that disgusting himidity and that is when I thought I would expire. No I think maybe your winter is more painless than our sweltering summers though at this moment I am sure you would disagree. Keep warm!!!!

I don't get this Sopa thing but I am worried... mainly because people on Tumblr are still feaking out even if after yesterday it seems politicians are starting to see sense! I really hope it's just much rumour over nothing

Yep, saw that. There is a 1998 law that states they have to be given a certain amount of time to remove the offending (illegal downloading links) from their sites. They didn't. SOPA would bypass that law.
YT always complies but SOPA would change that.
Part of the indictment: The indictment claims it induced users to upload copyrighted works for others to download, and that it often failed to comply with removal notices from rights holders under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, yet the site routinely removes uploaded child pornography.

I am the same. ;D I do hate the cold atm but then again i often complain in the summer when it's too hot. Overall, i rather be boiled than frozen but i kinda love when it's normal, not too hot, not too cold. I just hope these temperatures get back to normal for me and for you as well. Until then, take care.

I don't fully understand SOPA/PIPA but it still worries me. When do we get an official announcement?

The bill has apparently been postponed to unknown date so it can be worked on again. I'm sure majors (first of all our "beloved" WB) are going to push to keep it similar to what it is now,but at least they are going to make it more clear and less dangerous for the whole Net, at least I hope so. I am not against fighting piracy, but this was taking it too far. I am pleased.

The law they have on the books now is fair. They give sites a chance to remove the offending links, etc. It is not these sites fault that law enforcement are failing on apprehending thiefs (much like the war on drugs).

2¤/littre the gas! YAY! Finally I found an excuse to start exercising myself by walking. Thank God for our beloved government and their super-high taxes! *sarcasm* Bye-bye car
