SS says that filming will last till sometime in July. I didn't expect it would be such a long shoot?!!

A normal movie shoot is anywhere from 4-6 months. So that's about right.

I thought it would be less since it's an indie film; oh well he'll be very busy then till DH2 promotion.

I don't think this is an indie film. We know of one source of funding but I'm willing to bet there are other sources that we don't know about.

Few movies go for like 6 months but it all depends on the movie and also the role of the character. It's more 2 - 4 months (and 4 months is long) so 6 weeks that Snitchseeker says sounds about right. I am happy he is doing something. I hope it turns out well for him. Shooting in Norway, lucky guy I always wanted to visit there.

^ Dude, you live (or used to) near him right? Stalk his neighbourhood better. Chances to see him are bigger than to see him in Norway. But if you do see him, say "Hi" from me.
