I'm quite pleased to have read some of the reviews regarding, "Into the White." One thing that I've always wanted in terms of seeing Rupert act was to see him act with a strong assemble cast. Also, I've always had this thing about seeing him in a military movie,....ok, the "Full Metal Jacket" type, but nevertheless. I'm looking forward to seeing it and reviewing it for myself. But, suprisingly, I'm in no hurry.

Ok so maybe my Eurpopean buddies knows the answer to this-how long do movies stay out that are international and how how long does it take for these movies not shown in the US to be released to DVD? Also will Into the White be released to DVD to US? Any help is appreciated!

First off, the movie is still being sold (it's going to the Cannes Market in May), so I'm sure it will show to American distributors. Second, with foreign films it depends. Sometimes the U.S. will get a movie quickly, sometimes in a year or two (it just depends on the market). Also, most foreign films don't get wide release. So no telling when it will get a dvd release or anything like that. I assure you when someone finds out, they will post it on this forum.

Just saw this movie and one word to describe it -BRILLIANT!! All five actors are top notch. They all blew my mind. Rupert's singing voice is so cute considering he's singing with a scouse accent. But the actors, all of them, just blew my mind. The interactions, the chemistry, loss for words. Just brilliant.
