Hoff had this to say about Rupert's lack of skiing skills (translated from the article).

Well, he claimed he had an uncle who had skied once. And he tried out on modern equipment the day before. But it was only to go right on shooting, he had no idea! He fell and rolled around and stood like a chicken, we laughed until we cried. But Rupert did everything, he said, and kept a good mood. Although he was ice cold in the end.

I can't believe he did not know how to ski!! x)
