Harvey told me: 'For ten years she has been this schoolgirl in the Harry Potter films and now you see her as a woman for the first time.
'She has an elegance about her - she looks like Jean Shrimpton! - plus she has a gift for comedy and drama, and we're just starting to see her range.
'I feel we're going to work together a lot in the future.'
The latter's director Simon Curtis called Emma a 'proper actress'.www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1337305/Cor-Blimey-Billie-Doolittle.html?ito=feeds-newsxmlNice to read positive comments on her acting.

Awww I am so happy for her! After DH part 1 I have no doubts she will make a fantastic actress. I couldn't agree more she is amazing at comedy and drama!
I am so excited to see this film ;D
I find it funny that Emma is the one who is releasing two films so quick after potter. I never would have picked her. I thought she would be focusing on uni, but the girl is a grafter so deserves everything she gets!

Maybe she will do more small roles and we will have to wait at least 2 years for a bigger role? Either way, it works fine for her. I think supporting roles will be the best thing for her at the moment.

I think supporting roles will be the best thing for her at the moment. I totally agree. This praise is evidence of it, she only played a small part but with less pressure on her than usual she has shone and impressed the guy so much he wants to take her under his wing and nurture her into becoming a world class actress. She is making contacts with people who will really help her in the acting world. It also means she can do a range of different roles, as they won't be time consuming. She can go on do her thang (I just typed thang lol) and show her acting chops to the world. Then when she has did a few small roles, of a range of different genres, she can go on to do big film roles that really appeal to her. Like in this, she gets to play a more adult romance, flirting etc. She will also get to show off her great neck for comedy and then the more dramtic side of forgiving Clark for going off with Marilyn. Then in Perks of being a Wallflower, she gets to show a young funky edge, sex drugs and rock and roll lol. This will be really different! The girl is just adding string after string to her already enormous bow! (some tape to shut me up!)

^ It sounds great. I cannot wait to see what will besome of these two! But I'm a little worried too about the wallflower movie (I haven't read the novel!) Because many fans do not want to see Emma in "sex-film roles."
