*loves* Especially the one where he's sitting on the bench. ;D ..Up until recently, it was just me playing this scared guy, with the odd light-hearted line.I NEVER GOT TO PUSH MYSELF. - Rupert Grint Thank you for confirming what many of us have been saying for a very long time. It's sad to know that he does feel held back as an actor when it came to Ron. Love the grudge look! Meh... Sad, but true. I love how he's opening about it. And i love this - rebel - Rupert we've come to see lately. He's finally talking about everything that has been happening with HP, Ron. On another note, i am happy that he never really got the HP 'mark' on him you know. The media attention marked Dan and Emma, and they wont find new and good rolls easily. Now Rupert... they all know his potential, and since he's not that into the HP media light, he's the safe choice. Def he'll have the best career. Katie, your totally right! I agree He'll have an amazing career ♥

Such an intriguing photoshoot & interview. I swear he's becoming more attractive every time we see him. The stubble, the smile, the hair, the leathaaa. *swoon* As for not being able to push himself, that's quite heartbreaking. He seems sad in general, but his confidence has definitely shot up lately. While it's true that book!Ron is more complex, so are most of the characters. I do wish we would have got to see him do more, but we still have Deathly Hallows to look forward to. I just know he will rock it. At least he is grateful that he was casted. It's obvious that the experience has meant a lot to him, even with his character watered down. Our man needn't worry because he has one heck'uva career awaiting him.

^ I agree! He has such a rich career ahead of him, and his own choice of different roles. Ron has been very watered down and changed, and that's one thing I don't like about the films. Deathly Hallows really should show that Ron's character is more than the scared sidekick, and Rupert's acting skills will definately shine in this one, but I can see what he means about needing to prove himself abit more. I can definately see him doing alot more challenging roles in the future, I don't think he has anything to worry about. So many actors and actresses are just remembered for one role, that's how I see people like Leonardo Dicaprio - I always think of Titanic whenever I see one of this films. It happens, but he will shake the image off, but stil be proud of being in Harry Potter. It's changed his life and made him who he is today. (That's why im glad he's thankful and that's also why it annoyed me when Emma used to be like 'Ugh, i can't wait to try new things') I will miss him as Ron, but i'm really excited to see what he has in store for us

I agree He'll have an amazing career ♥ I bloody hope so. Damn, this boy's got guts to come out and say that he'd never had a chance to push himself in the role of Ron Weasley. Probably many actors won't admit that publically, let alone privately. Staying out of the spotlight has helped a lot, in the future he'll be taken seriously as an actor, and not fall into the celebrity status, like Emma has (I don't want to sound mean, but its the truth)

^ Your not mean, hun, it is the truth. But why not let Rupert say that? He's nearly done, anyway! Plus, he's being honest. And if people read that, they might think 'you know what? If he wants a challenge, he could always consider this role' - rollin' in the offers! Watch out, world - Rupert's gunna be bigger than he is now - if that's possible! LOL

Rupert Grint's gonna be the Harrison Ford of this trio, there's no doubt in my mind. I do hope Dan & Emma go on to have successful careers too, though, because I support them as well. Emma certainly acquires the potential to be big in the fashion industry, & I can see Dan doing lots more theatre & possibly even directing (remember, Rupes said he'd be interested in directing as well!). Anyway, I can't tell you all how p!ssed I am right now. I was just about finished with an awesome banner with these new pics, & what happens? My friggin' Paint Shop Pro flips out & crashes. No wonder I can't get back into graphic design. This happens all the time. D: I'm not even gonna be modest, that was a damn good banner. *cries* Lol, okay, that was unnecessary. I just needed to rant.

Sorry about your PSP Really glad that Rupert gets his own feature outside HP. I am, as some said, sad that he feels he didn't have to push himself much when it came to playing Ron, but at same time, it is good that he is saying that Ron had been basically written two dimensional for a long, long time. He did as best as he could, and definitely won the fans over, but we could have used another scriptwriter to avoid that. Either way, it is really nice to read about him, and the pictures aren't bad at all...
