The age difference is a big deal because they're at different stages of their life meaning they want different things. She wants to go to school and he's heading for his 30s |

I'd just like to throw this out there. I think if it really was very serious, Emma wouldn't even be considering going to Uni in America because that would mean leaving the love of her life at home for several years.
I do kind of hope she goes, I think it'll be good for her (and I don't mean because of Jay lol).
