Here is a review of the french movie. I am really posting it because it gives a synopsis of the movie. Summary Whilst on an assignment, professional hitman Victor Meynard runs into a delivery boy, Antoine. Unable to kill the adolescent, Meynard adopts him as his accomplice, in spite of Antoine’s evident lack of enthusiasm for his new career. They are hired by a Corsican gangster to kill a con artist Renée Dandrieux for palming off a fake painting. Again, Meynard’s luck is against him, and when he fails to kill Renée, with Antoine's help, the Corsican gangster sends another hitman to kill all three of them... omg, Bill's character may attempt to kill Rupert's character in the movie??? Amazing! I'm flailing just thinking about the two of them acting out that kind of a scene. It's interesting that Victor is "unable" to kill Antoine. I'm seriously imagining a Mr. and Mrs. Smith scene here...without slash of course.

11 more days until filming starts. Sana, It seems Rupert's character witnesses a hit and thats when Nighy's character has to kill him but can't. This movie is going to be so cool.

Well, I must say this is just too exciting for words. Three Rupert movies in one year! Fantabulous! It sounds like this one might be both a thriller and a comedy, kind of like "Hot Fuzz" or "Sean of the Dead," which is a category I really like. Speaking of those two films, Bill Nighy was in both of them, and in any case there was only one degree of separation between him and Rupert before, because Bill was in "State of Play," directed by David Yates. I highly recommend renting that if you haven't seen it. "SoP" was a six-episode miniseries about a politician who is accused of murdering one of his assistants, with whom he was having an affair. Bill Nighy plays the publisher of a newspaper that has an inside scoop on the story. It's really terrific. But back on topic:
Rupert's agent certainly is doing a great job finding roles for him, and I'm glad Rupert has the sense to go for them and not just hang around between HP films.
ETA: "My Cousin Vinny" is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of movies. Rent it if you haven't seen it. Now. It's a good sign that the same guy that directed it is directing "Wild Target."
