... They forgot to mention that none of that would even be possible because HERMIONE WOULD KICK HIS a**. -cough- It's amazing how people will really dig into the small, simple things of a realistic character just to prove a point.
EDIT: asfjhdfjsdhfjsdfhsdf! wow, that article is now going to irk me all day- or at least until the trailer comes around. i'm really protective of my Ron.

^Me too! I'm protective of Hermione's Ron. But why are they saying that. Lets see, in COS Ron follows spiders (his biggest fear) in hope of stopping the basilisk, so Hermione would be safe.
In DH, he yells Hermione at malfoy manor because he's in love with her and he doesn't want her to get hurt.
Ron would NEVER abuse Hermione. He loves her too much. He's jealous because thats how love is unfortunately.

WTF indeed. Ron would never[/i] hit Hermione.. This is a load of rubbish, Ron isn't an abusive person. Just another Harmonian that can't hack it, I say..

I don't think this person is even capable of being a Harmonian.

This has really irked me now. I don't see how people can think that Ron is an abusive person..
Read DH, there's enough evidence in that book which proves that Ron is the complete opposite.

I just think that the fact that they used HBP for all of their examples says enough already: Ron was both self-conscious and completely unsure of himself. It didn't help that when he needed that slight burst of confidence for Hermione, he wasn't exactly getting it. But I love his character for his faults- or even more so, for his emotions. Sure, he put Hermione through hell in the sixth book, but honestly? It wasn't like she was being an angel herself. That's why I love them so much- they drive each other crazy.
Oh my god, shoot me. At least this was written before the last book: hopefully they've seen the way he's matured and the lengths he went to in the last book to be with her.

Yeah it was written before DH. But even if you didn't read DH, you can see that hes not an abusive person

I couldn't even finish reading it. Seems like the person was reading too much into the examples he provided.

I just skimmed through it.
WTH??? She's his best friend. Don't you act that way towards your best friends, especially if your front different sexes?
No, he's just doesn't want to see Hagrid's reaction because they didn't continue his subject.
EDIT: What really annoys me the most is this
He just cares about his brother. Geez.
