It makes me sad. I wanted to see it on Broadway one day, but there's no way that between now and September I'll have the money to go to NY. Especially since I plan on going to Portus in Dallas in July.  I LOVE RENT! It's been a love affair of 12 years now. I've seen two touring productions of it and have been listening to the soundtrack for 12 years. I know all the songs by heart and have made many members of my friends and family fans of it through the movie. I even used it to teach a theater class about musicals for a couple of days. And I have the coffeetable book and the songbook. |

beautiful story, bout some amazing ppl, i cried, i have all the songs on my ipod, so yer im a huge fan of this movie! I first heard about the movie when I started singing 'Seasons of Love' wat a beaut song!!!

Oh God, I love Rent. I remember listening to the soundtrack backstage during high school plays in 1996. I remember bawling to "Seasons of Love" during my senior year after I finished my last show. I remember going to see the film with my husband and loving it. Unfortunately, I never got to see the live show when it was in Chicago. It's one of my regrets in life. I can only hope that in 10-15 years there will be an amazing revival. |
