I did have a good day, thank you, love. We left the kids at home and stuffed our faces at a restaurant and I got a new pair of shoes. Brian and the boys gave me a certificate for a 90 minute facial that I'll be using VERY soon.

Just so you all know for the (very distant) future that I'm finding 30 to be no biggie. Most of my friends are freaking out about this year but it's because they're not married, don't have kids, haven't bought a house and are worried that the clock is ticking.
Moral of the story is to make well-thought out decisions but don't be afraid to live, take risks or make your own path. Everybody I know that played it safe with love and life and work is in panic mode while I'm sitting back relaxing.

Good advice, Megan. Are you saying you made the first move instead of your husband? Haha.

I did. And in my own bull-in-a-china-shop way, it did us both a world of good.

I did. And in my own bull-in-a-china-shop way, it did us both a world of good. I'll bet. One marriage, two kids and one on the way later? I'd say that's pretty good. ;D I hope my life turns out like yours, Megan.
