I was reading a few comments regarding wanting Rupert to get lead roles and I totally understand. But, I kind of veer in a different direction. I think at this juncture that it's quite possibly a good strategic move for me to align himself with projects that will give him the greatest opportunity to showcase himself, while still maintaining the direction that he seems to be wanting to go in....INDIE KING!!!! Basically, getting into some quality film projects that hopefullly gives him a meaty role with an amazing ensemble cast that will be SEEN!!!! I will go anywhere to see a Rupert Grint film. I will order his films from anywhere, however, not everyone is a hardcore fan like we all are. Therefore, hopefully, at this early stage of his post-HP career, people might go to see Shia, but come out like, hey that kid from Harry Potter, he's good. I have to agree with you. However much we love him, i can't imagine one of those big, huge and famous directors would sign Rupert up for a lead role. So if Rupert would get NOW lead role then it will be small and more unknown films which might not give him the many audience i wish for him. However if he is "only" in supporting roles but with great casts who themselves are already known, then the film will have wider audience. Sure they might not watch it for Rupert but he will gain new fans which are not related to HP which is really what he should be aiming for now. Also this way if he is part of great and already very well known cast, there is a much higher chance of bigger directors and producer to look at the films and might be blown away with Rupert's acting, which i can't see happening if Rupert is in a lead role but a small film which the right producer and directors wouldn't bother watching.

He actually has 7, with the exception of "Enemy of Man" where his attachment remains unconfirmed:
1. Cross Country (pre-production)
2. Eddie the Eagle (pre-production)
3. The Drummer (pre-production)
4. CBGB (filming)
5. Postman Pat: The Movie - You Know You're the One - voice (post-production)
6. The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman (post-production)
7. Enemy of Man (pre-production) -- rumored

i thought Eddie the eagle is on hold because of money reason? And was Cross Country ever confirmed? I must have missed those two. When are they being filmed?

Yeah but I guess they are talking in terms of projects where he's definitely attached to, even if they may be on hold or whatnot..
