^ While I agree with you that she does seem like a people pleaser, I also thinks she knows how to take care of herself more often than not. Of course she has her grey moments, who doesn't, but I think her tendency to want to make sure she doesn't offend anyone also comes from her belief that her fame has put on her a huge responsibility. I sometimes do get a feeling though that she tries too hard, she isn't or rather can't be as awesome as she appears to be; so much of praise, so much of attention, such fame, money, adoration can really affect your head you know. Its not her, its just a normal human reaction. She is one of the most popular people in the world currently, and thast HUGE i think. She makes it to every list, every tabloid, everythign. Most men she meets seem charmed by her, most people she meets seem to feel that she exudes an aura about her. I mean its not easy to stay normal and humble amidst all of this, especially if you have grown up with it you know. And the fame has actually become so huge in the past one or two years for her I think, before that it was still more about Hermione than Emma. Now its the other way round I think. I am quite fond of her, but I don't know how much of it is a show and how much of it is real. She is obviously not arrogant etc. no one can act 24 hours a day, she is a very humble person, I just wonder about teh huge effort it must take to live up to this image that she has created of herself.

It's really funny because my best friend whose parents are married for a long time now, reminds me ALOT of Emma-fair trade, wanting to please others, doing for others first not saying no... With that said, I think that Emma has had alot of her values/morals instilled early in life-she is not the party type girl, she is not the girl who is with a different guy every other week (well the media does that LOL), she is very down to earth, and always has been that way. I think she is aware of the pressure put on her to not make mistakes in public but the bottom line is, Emma is only human. Yes she is probably the top 10 faces recognizable these days, but Emma has never been into that whole "look at me" or goes looking for trouble. She wants to be just Emma. For that I applaud her. I hope the media doesnt bother her as much since HP is done but if she stays acting w. in the US, I hate to say it the media will be all over her which is a shame because again she doesnt go looking for the media like some actresses.

LOL I was laughing right along with Emma...I know I may be hearing things, but I swear when I saw this the first time (and still do hear it LOL) that was Rupert chuckling in the background.

Apparently Emma is in this weeks 'Hello'. I found this on their website
I don't buy the Hello every week. Only if i see there is anything which interest me. So if anyone gets it (should be out today Tuesday in the UK), can you tell me how many pages they are of this interview. Because to be honest i don't want to get it when it is only 1 page long. Unless there are some Emma with Rupert pics. So if someone can tell what it is about, would be appreciated .
