Deathly Hallows...because of the awesome R/Hr-ness. HPB was one of my favorties too... Oh, but Umbridge made OotP a favorite too. I absolutely hated her!

For me Deathly Hollows, the pacing, the anticipation, the secrets, it was done really well. But PS/SS that made me hook up on HP books. I started reading it and by the end of the week I was done on GOF.

I saw on an interview where David Heyman read HP before it was published. Was he in the publishing industry or was Jo aiming for a movie angle from the jump? Definitely curious about that.
I read all seven books in 10 days. Definitely not healthy. Harry Potter binge to the extreme. Not a whole lot of sleep, and a huge range of emotions.
After reading Order, I just felt numb. Nothing. And when I was finished with it, my sister (who has been an avid reader for 10 years) looked at me excitedly and is all like "What do you think?" I did not like it. I did not dislike it. I was apathetic.
Now, my sister, being the avid reader she was, was all like, "Read it again. How can you not like it? If you weren't rushing through it, you'd get it." But, now that I have read em all, and have plans to re-read the series throughly and properly, you know which book I cannot wait to read? Order of the Phoenix.
I don't necessarily think it is my favorite. I liked Half-Blood a lot. Deathly Hallows is I mean, obviously just outstanding. But Half-Blood has a little bit of everything, without the impending doom. It is like the conclusion before the conclusion. With the exception of Snape's allegiance and who lives and dies, we know pretty much everything. It is all laid out there in front of us. We know the end is near. And, the one thing about it. When I finished Half-Blood, I was ready for DH. HBP really does such a great job setting it up and preparing us.

Just something i learned today:
The Deathly Hallows came out in July and it sold a record 11 million copies in the first 24 hours after its release.
DAMN, that's huge.

Half-Blood Prince used to be my favourite right the way up until Deathly Hallows was released. Now, I can't help but say Deathly Hallows is my favourite. And I'm sure the reason why is obvious.

Deathly Hallows, with Prisoner of Azkaban coming a close second - I've always loved that one.
