^^ I have to disagree. Ron did end up like bigger hero than Neville. He was known as one of the THREE that saved the day. (They even got their own Chocolate Frog Cards ) Neville just killed the snake, but i'm not sure The trio ever revealed any of the Horo-things. ;D Plus to be honest, Ron was the hero for 7 years, from year 1 till the end, and Neville only did the heroic stuff in the end battle. JKR probably wanted to show us, he's not pathetic and she gave us the reason why he's in Gryfindor. But that's all. You can't compare what he did, to what Ron did. Those were Neville's 5 minutes I like Neville, and i'm glad he become such a man in the end, but all in all, Ron's the biggest hero for me. He did the lot's of heroic stuff trough the 7 years... The one and only reason, the readers (or should i say movie-watchers) don't like Ron is because he got the girl in the end.

^I see what you mean, but most haters and other HP fans, don't see it. I know I shouldn't care what they think, but it's hard to block out what they say about him. Grrrr. But I think that's what I'm trying to say, that Ron's being doing heroic stuff for years, and getting little recognition, yet here comes Neville acting a little manly, and BAM, he's the biggest hero ever. (save Harry) Unfortunately, there a plenty of Ron haters that don't care about R/Hr, and hate him because they think he's worthless.

^^ Well those losers, obviously never read any of the books, or they never even tried to understand them. I mean, i never got the idea of him being worthless, and to be honest i don't think Neville is that much of a hero. You see, Neville was the worthless one for 6 books, and i don't see why he shouldn't have some heroic actions. BTW, i also blame the movies, for that too. I mean, if they didn't made Hermione-All-Mighty! Ah well, all in all i don't care what the fake-fans, movie-watchers or random-morons think about the series and their characters, i know lot's of people who love Ron.

sorry to disagree with you katie but I LOVE NEVILLE. He is my favourite character because he is probably the most relatable of the characters in the series, because of his homeliness. The movies mess up alot of key scenes with all the characters

Cedric :/ I don't know why, but I just find him annoying xP ..I would say Voldemort..but there wouldn't really be much of a story without him
